"The Northern Frontier" is a ten-day expedition designed to deconstruct the monolithic image of Sri Lanka as merely a land of tea and beaches. It presents the Northern Province not as a post-conflict zone, but as a vibrant, distinct cultural entity with its own deep-rooted heritage. The itinerary weaves together the stark, palmyrah-studded landscapes of Mannar, the rich Hindu traditions of Jaffna, and the untouched marine sanctuaries of the East Coast.
